Traditional and hot-stone reflexology as well as Indian head massages are among the regular complementary therapies available at Winnersh Triangle, giving people working at the business park a chance to relax, rebalance and reinvigorate their senses.
The treatments are organised by business park owner and manager PATRIZIA UK as part of its rolling programme of events, and reflect its ongoing commitment to providing an environment that nurtures work/life balance.
Therapist Sarah Edwards has ten years’ experience and is fully insured and qualified. She has also studied advanced courses in stress and anxiety and spinal reflexology. Sarah holds her clinic at Winnersh Triangle on Mondays, twice a month.
Occupiers are feeling the benefits of Sarah’s work as recently highlighted: “I started having a 30-minute treatment with Sarah in January. I suffer with tight shoulders and have neck problems and can really feel that this has eased since having regular treatments. I also really enjoy having a little time to just relax and de-stress in the busy working day and very much look forward to my monthly treatment. I would highly recommend Reflexology and Sarah to everyone!”
Traditional reflexology applies gentle pressure to specific points on the hands or feet to help stimulate the body’s own healing mechanism and assist in reinstating natural health and wellbeing. Hot stone reflexology applies the same principles using warmed stones to rebalance the body at the deepest levels. Benefits are said to calm the senses, ease muscle tension, improve circulation, reduce stress and induce relaxation. Indian head massage focuses on the upper body – head, neck and shoulder areas – and is found to be relaxing as well as stimulating and invigorating.
