Over the festive period we teamed up with Urban Planters to decorate the park with Christmas trees that go up around Winnersh Triangle.
Urban Planters design, source, install and maintain indoor and outdoor plants and other plant-related products. They are a trusted supplier used at Winnersh Triangle as they really help to bring the park to life by giving it the festive look and feel, whilst more importantly, concentrating on their environmental impact and maintaining the title of a carbon neutral company. They recycle all of the Christmas trees that are put up around the park to ensure that there is no waste and to reduce the environmental impact as much as possible.
After working with Urban Planters this year, they have the following to say regarding recycling the trees in January: –
“All of our real Christmas trees are recycled, we get them from local growers, less air and land miles means reduced emissions. Our trees come from sustainable forests which means that for each tree that is cut down, another is replanted. Real Christmas trees are natural and fully recyclable, they can be mulched for landscaping and gardening, turned into wood chips for trails, paths and ground covering.”
In 2021, Frasers Property has pledged to be more environmentally friendly across all of the southern estate business parks (including Winnersh Triangle, Chineham Park, Watchmoor Park, Farnborough Business Park and Maxis, Bracknell) so it is great to know that we have stepped into the New Year, keeping our carbon footprint small and we hope to carry on finding more environmentally-friendly solutions for all of the initiatives we uphold, going forward.
