Saying Thank You During Appreciation Month

In January at Winnersh, we focused on small steps to boost wellbeing in ways that easily fit into the working day. As we move into February, we’re turning our attention to Appreciation Month – a chance to celebrate the small gestures that can have a big impact, helping our community feel seen, heard and supported.
A simple thank you. A shared smile. A small act of kindness. These moments are the ones that can make a real difference to someone’s day.
At Winnersh Triangle, building a sense of community is at the heart of what we do. Appreciation Month reflects this by encouraging people to connect, take time for one another and recognise the positive role colleagues play in their working lives.
Throughout February, we’ll be hosting a series of activities designed to bring people together and spread a little appreciation.
These include Time to Talk in The Exchange on February 14, where you can invite two colleagues to enjoy a coffee and a chat: Valentine’s, when we’ll be giving out roses on February 13 to brighten your day. Alternatively, you can show someone else how much you care or appreciate them.
The month is rounded off with Random Acts of Kindness Day on February 17, marked with a simple cookie giveaway as a thank you for being part of our community, or another opportunity for you to pass to someone else who makes a difference in your life.
By creating space for these moments, we’re supporting a workplace experience that values people, encourages connection and helps everyone feel part of something bigger -all key elements of life at Winnersh Triangle.
