Nurture Landscapes, Winnersh Triangle’s landscape and maintenance team have been awarded a prestigious National Landscape Award from accredited membership association BALI.

Nurture Landscapes submitted Winnersh Triangle for the ‘Grounds Maintenance with Limited Public Access’ category in this year’s awards.

The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) annual award is a prestigious accolade in the landscape industry’s calendar, the Oscars of the landscaping industry. The award’s key objectives are to acknowledge and reward professional excellence, each submitted project is visited personally by a judge and scrutinised individually to ensure the winners really do represent the very best in landscape construction, design and maintenance.

Winnersh Triangle’s award was one of six won by Nurture Landscpaes. Alongside ASA landscape architects and property management team MAPP, Nurture work incredibly hard all year round to maintain and improve the landscape environment around Winnersh Triangle. The work not only includes grounds maintenance but also careful planning and design to ensure there are strong biodiversity links surrounding ecosystems.

Chair of BALI, John Melmoe commented on this year’s entries: “The most difficult element of any project to deliver, is the final 5%. It is this small difference that separates average schemes from great ones. Experienced, well managed members respond to clients or programme pressures with the required resources and are determined to ensure the highest standards are maintained.”

Chief Executive, Wayne Grills also commented on the growing concentration towards sustainability within landscaping: “We are also excited to see a growing focus towards integrating environmental and sustainable solutions within the practical requirements of the project.”

We’re pleased to see environmental and sustainability becoming part of the conversation in all aspects of business park management. Frasers Property is committed to net zero carbon by 2030 aligned with Science Based Targets, sustainable landscaping practices are a big part of this plan and also contribute towards exciting plans to expand on a 2* FITWEL accreditation.
Congratulations to the whole team on achieving this prestigious BALI award.
