As you will have seen there are still works ongoing by the main entrance of Winnersh Triangle. These are Wokingham Borough Council works part funded by Frasers Property UK.

We wanted to keep you updated as the project is delayed beyond the original programme.

We understand that some of the temporary road and traffic restrictions have been frustrating for Winnersh Triangle users. Your concerns have been escalated to the highways department at Wokingham Borough Council.

The full scheme will be completed, including the opening for the multi-deck car park,  in May 2023.

Frasers Property UK are on standby to commence its landscaping works to the main entrance / station piazza area as soon as Wokingham Borough Council enable possession for this section of their construction current site.

Materials have been delivered, a contractor is on standby and we aim for this to be completed by April 2023.  The new landscaped area on the Estate and Station approach will be impressive and you’ll be able to see visible progress from this point forward.

Park and Ride

Reading Buses have not committed to a return to service date for the previous Park and Ride service to central Reading in view of the current project delays. The temporary Park and Ride at Thames Valley Park was closed by Reading Buses in June due to low passenger numbers.

In the meantime, South Western and Great Western train services continue to run to Reading, London, Guildford, Gatwick from Winnersh Triangle train station. Find out more about train times here.

Gold X40 Lion buses run from Wokingham Road – Reading / Wokingham / Bracknell etc. – there are stops within walking distance from Winnersh Triangle.

Find out more about travel to and from Winnersh Triangle here.

We really appreciate everyone’s patience whilst the works continue. If you have any specific questions please email Marcus@winnershtriangle.co.uk .
