It’s spring on the business park and it’s a hive of activity as our landscaping teams ensure all our green open spaces are ready to welcome not only our business community but the insects and wildlife which enjoy our park.

We aim to create rich habitats to boost biodiversity and as you walk, run or cycle around the business park look out for our bug hotels, hedgehog homes, bat and bird boxes and feeders.

In our annual biodiversity report, we could see several of our bird boxes had been used over the winter by sparrows and blue tits.

Our on-site beehives are also boosting the insect population with two types of bees – honey bees and white-tailed bumble bees, with rosemary beetles, hover flies and wood wasps also counted. We can’t wait for our second honey harvest later in the year.

Did you know Winnersh is also Fitwel accredited, showing we meet best practice for the design and operation of the park to support holistic standards?

Sustainability is also at the core of our aspirations at Frasers Property across all our Business Parks. We promote sustainable transport and recycling across the park and aim to send zero waste to landfill. We’re also committed to achieving Net Zero at Winnersh Triangle by 2050, and in our multi-let buildings by 2030.
