Move HQ, Winnersh Triangle’s state of the art gym is hosting a community outreach initiative on Saturday 10th September. The Move HQ Elite Programme is a 12-month Athletic Development programme to guide and support young athletes as they strive for their sporting dreams.

The opportunity is open to children in years 7 – 12. Successful athletes will receive the very best support free of charge as part of Move HQ’s commitment to developing sporting talent in the Thames Valley. It will be delivered by UK Strength & Conditioning accredited coaches at Move HQ’s 5-star performance centre.

Move HQ co-founders are Nedum Onuoha, former footballer at Manchester City FC, Sunderland AFC and Queens Park Rangers FC and Mark Munroe Sport Scientist who has worked for Sydney FC and Queens Park Rangers. 

Successful candidates will receive: 

  • Weekly coached S&C coached sessions
  • Weekly gym access
  • Education & lifestyle workshops throughout the year – including nutrition, sleep, how to balance school whilst training 
  • Mentoring
  • Move HQ Elite – full kit
  • This initiative is fully endorsed by the UK Strength & Conditioning Association (UKSCA) who hope the programme will provide a spring board for similar schemes across the country

Please note it is extremely important to us that those selected to be part of the Move HQ Elite Programme are also fully engaged in their academic education. Schools will be asked to

provide a reference.

Move HQ will have an open day during the event where there will be entertainment and

food/drinks available. There will be footballers (past and present), current and former

athletes and sportspeople joining the youngsters at the Move HQ event.
