In March, Frasers Property UK supported global leader of supply chain solutions, Manhattan Associates, to relocate its UK team to a new office at Winnersh Triangle – marking an exciting step forward in how the business works, collaborates and supports its people.
We caught up with Peter Rennie, Finance Director at Manhattan Associates, to explore the reasons behind the move and why the business chose to continue its journey at Winnersh Triangle.
The beginning of a new chapter
Manhattan Associates first moved to Winnersh Triangle in 2014 into a multi-let office in Building 1050 after being drawn to the technology cluster within the park community of like-minded businesses, high-quality amenities and strong local talent pool.
Following the business’ growth and evolution, Manhattan Associates sought a new space that would offer greater flexibility for team collaboration and support its evolving workplace needs. With support from the team at Frasers Property UK, Manhattan Associates successfully relocated to Building 270, enabling the business to continue benefiting from the connectivity, amenities and wider park community at Winnersh Triangle.
Peter Rennie, Finance Director at Manhattan Associates said: “We’ve been at Winnersh Triangle now for 12 years and the team have really enjoyed being a part of the park community. We’re delighted that we were able to find a new space at Winnersh Triangle that meets our needs for where we are now in our journey as a business. Finding a new space that enabled us to remain on the park was key for us as the location offers excellent connectivity, making it convenient for both our employees and visitors.”
A space for inclusivity and collaboration
Designed with flexibility and connection in mind, Building 270 brings together modern work environments and thoughtful amenities. The office features six meeting rooms, two large project offices, a dedicated training room and an 18-seat boardroom, with 51 parking spaces and conveniently situated near the park’s train station.
Ensuring inclusivity and increasing greater collaboration were key priorities for Manhattan in its decision to relocate. The new space offers high-quality facilities and amenities such as a Quiet Room, providing its employees with a calm space for reflection, while Qabin soundproof booths enable focused work and private adhoc calls. The team also has access to its own presentation area that can hold up to 80 employees – complete with a pool table, foosball, and arcade machine – and separate breakout spaces to support employee engagement and informal collaboration.
Peter added: “The move reflects Manhattan’s ongoing commitment to creating a workplace that empowers its people, supports well-being and enables the business to deliver the best for its customers. Building 270 gives us the flexibility and space we need to create the perfect environment for the team to collaborate and host customers and prospects.”
Keeping sustainability and health and well-being front of mind
During the move, much of the existing furniture was able to be reused, ensuring the new space maintained its distinctive Manhattan-style aesthetic that the team knows and loves, while reducing environmental impact.
Building 270 further supports Manhattan’s greener choices by offering its employees four EV charging points and secure, undercover bike storage, encouraging sustainable travel and supporting the health and well-being of its people.
Winnersh Triangle provides leading amenities and initiatives that support employee well-being and the environment, placing the health and well-being of occupiers and their people at the core. From fitness classes and well-being workshops to on-site clinics and events, its year-round programme is designed to support both the physical and mental health of teams across the park.
