With people working more flexibly, when they do come into the office, soggy cereal for breakfast or a limp sandwich for lunch just won’t do. At Winnersh Triangle we have a host of great options, to keep you full of energy and focussed on work, from breakfast through to dinner.

Start the day right

Our onsite hotel The Crowne Plaza Reading East has recently been rated as one of the best places to have breakfast in Reading. The 2 AA Rosette Caprice restaurant and terrace sits within the newly refurbished Crowne Plaza hotel. The restaurant was given an impressive TripAdvisor rating of 4.5/5.  Customers praised the hotel for having ‘amazing breakfasts’ catering for both vegetarians and vegans, as well as comments on their excellent customer service.

If you don’t have time for a sit-down breakfast, then we still have plenty of choices. The café at Move HQ is open to occupiers and the public, you don’t need to be a member of the gym to visit. They have a host of freshly made yoghurt pots and other breakfast options, as well as a selection of hot drinks and delicious smoothies. The three Gather and Gather cafes across the park are now in the hands of Head Chef Lee Mildenhall. Honing his skills at Tom Kerridge‘s The Hand and Flower, Lee knows what hungry occupiers want having also worked at Vodafone HQ in Newbury ….. and the new menu doesn’t disappoint.

Lunchtime choices

Gather and Gather now hosts a weekly BBQ outside The Exchange with Lee at the helm, which is the perfect lunchtime treat, as the sun shines. There are vegetarian options and even a naked burger, without a bun for those who don’t love carbs.

If you head to Move HQ, down Eskdale Road, you’ll find a delicious array of sushi, which is perfect for grabbing and going, if you don’t have long for lunch. They also have some delicious dessert options too, with a healthy twist.

The Gather and Gather cafes also have an array of sandwiches, toasties, wraps, soup, cakes, biscuits and more which you can enjoy in the various buildings across the park or why not take food and sit out in the deckchairs on the green to get some fresh air.

Afternoon break

If you like a little something to get you through the afternoon, then we have lots of choices from coffee and cake to our free fruit baskets. They are available in multi-let receptions across the park. Occupiers can just help themselves to a piece of fruit to promote wellness and it counts towards one of their five a day.

Relax and unwind

Winnersh Triangle also has after work options at The Crowne Plaza where you can enjoy a fabulous dinner served until 10pm. Their extensive menu includes exceptional modern British cuisine and a delicious authentic Indian menu. It’s the ideal place for catching up with a colleague or a team building meal. If you don’t want to eat, you can just pop in for an after-work drink. They have a delicious range of beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic and an impressive cocktail menu – just make sure you aren’t driving home afterwards.

Whatever you want to eat at Winnersh Triangle whilst you work, we have it. It’s time to leave your lunchbox at home!
