As part of our continued efforts to support local businesses and charities, MAPP and Frasers Property have teamed up with local charity – The Cowshed – and donated over 150 unused Winnersh Triangle blankets.
The Cowshed is local to Winnersh Triangle and provides support to people of all backgrounds in a time of personal crisis. The aim of The Cowshed is to provide good quality clothes and other essentials to anyone in need. The items are donated from the general public as well as retailers and manufacturers; they are then sorted, washed and ironed at their premises ready to be delivered to those in need.
Winnersh Triangle had a surplus of branded picnic blankets that were no longer needed. It is great to be able to donate them to a local charity who are really in need of them. It has also saved wasting and throwing away perfectly good items.
We hope that the blankets can make a difference, especially at this time of year. We look forward to working with The Cowshed and other local charities this season to carry on making a positive impact in our local community.
