As part of our pledge to sustainability this year as well as our aim to actively give back to the local community, we are pleased to confirm that we continue to up-cycle materials, equipment and furniture to local charities.

Following the recent refurbishment of the reception area of Building 220 – where we saw the space being transformed from a traditional reception area into a more social area to include a brand new Gather & Gather café and seating area – we had a fair amount of furniture occupying the space that we either did not require anymore or that would be up-cycled somewhere else on the park.

First Days charity – who provide everyday essentials to families who need them by distributing school uniforms, new baby essentials, travel items, toiletries, safety equipment, furniture, toys and books – are based just around the corner to Winnersh Triangle. They were delighted to accept our furniture donation and will pass it on to families who need it or use it in their centre.

Thank you to MAPP for organising this and also to First Days for carrying out amazing work daily to make such a difference in people’s lives.
